Dr. G's Vegas Night

The Center for Infant & Child Loss (CICL), formerly the Maryland Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Information and Counseling Program, was established in 1975 by the University of Maryland and the Maryland Department of Health in response to the SIDS Act of 1974. The program was co-founded by Dr. G, whose dedication to its mission was unwavering. Caring for infants, children, and their families was his life’s work, and his impact continues to be felt.

Dr. G’s deep appreciation for CICL and the Department of Pediatrics was evident in his enthusiastic participation in the Annual CICL Golf Invitational and the Annual Pediatric Holiday Celebration. Known for his ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he went, he left a lasting legacy of compassion and commitment.
