Gaining Resources Information & Empathy for Families Experiencing Loss. Members of CICL staff are involved in training activities for health care providers, community health nurses, childcare providers, pregnant women, parents, and students.

- Causes of death across infancy, childhood and adolescence including stillbirth, SIDS, accidents, developmental complications, suicide, gun violence, and illness.
- Priority public health efforts around prevention – Safe Sleep, Anti-bullying, Maryland Healthy Kids, Click it or Ticket and Buckel Up Programs, etc.
- Effects of loss on family and community systems including parents, siblings, and others.
