Annual Events
The events sponsored by or for CICL have been established in memory of a child that has died, apart from Dr. G’s Vegas Night. The Annual Vegas Night is in loving memory Dr. Ron Gutberlet, the Neonatologist who wrote the grant that started this organization in 1975. His family is still very involved in the success of CICL. Bereaved families and friends of CICL utilized their resources, time, and energy to assure that any family experiencing the sudden and unexpected death of their child have the same opportunity for immediate grief support and resources at no cost as they had. The funds raised at these events allow CICL to continue its mission and expand much needed services to families across the state of Maryland.
